James Webb has arrived at its destination, 1.5 million kilometres from Earth!* The telescope was launched by an Ariane rocket last December. More than 10 years later than originally estimated, the Webb will probe areas of the cosmos that have never been observed, thanks to its 6.5-metre diameter mirror, the largest ever deployed in space, and its four infrared instruments.
