Kenya adopts a standard for ethical, ecological and profitable management of its forest heritage. Kenya is the 4th country in East Africa to have an FSC standard for forest management. The standard, which became operational in May 2021, strengthens responsible forest management and boosts Kenya’s efforts to combat climate change.
