Committed since 2017 to the Science Based Targets (SBTi) initiative, which aims to define a greenhouse gas emissions reduction trajectory compatible with the objectives of the Paris Agreement for all sectors of the economy, La Banque Postale is the first European bank and one of the first financial institutions in the world to have its decarbonisation strategy validated by SBTi. This recognition commits La Banque Postale to moving away from fossil fuels by 2030 and to achieving carbon neutrality by 2024.
